Steve, thanks for pointing this out to us - looks like a great CD.

If you go to CDNow , they have clips of each track (as opposed to the three
entire tracks at capstone.org).  The CD is apparently already on backorder...

Subject: [CB] Another CD Review


While we're busy backordering CDs...

Hamiet Bluiett (& "The Baritone Nation") has a good new CD out, "BlueBlack" (2001 Justin Time Records , JUST 158-2).    HB plays (only) bari, joined by James Carter (bari + contrabass clarinet ), Patience Higgins (bari + bass clarinet), Alex Harding (bari + bass clarinet), Lee Person (traps), and Kahil El'Zabar (African drums, perc, vocals).  Lots of good bari harmonies, and also quite a few tracks with low clarinets prominent.  One of his better CDs :-)
