Hey!
Me and my contrabass will be playing Blue Shades this Sunday with our little ole community band. We are also doing Winds of Poisedon, where the contrabass actually gets to play some melody!
But, if you want to hear Blue Shades played the right way, definitely go hear the San Jose Wind Symphony . . . those guys rock! (I may have to drive up there just so I can hear what this piece is suppose to sound like!)
