Date: Mon, 18 Sep 2000 15:25:22 -0700I've been browsing through (and pricing and ordering) the catalog of works
by Terje Lerstad available through the Norwegian Music Information Centre.
There are a few that may be of particular interest:*Opus 28: TRIOSONATE for "sykkelpumpe, salmesykkel og o*** b***,
samt meg selv ved HB-apparatet". A 15' work scored for subbass
recorder, octocontrabass clarinet, 2 bongos, and harmonium. The clarinet and
harmonium serve as continuo parts, with the subbass recorder taking the solo role.
*Opus 35: Polyphemo's Song. This is a 4' solo for contrabassoon (Score: NOK 30)
*Opus 98: Scherzo, Fantasy & Fugue. This is a 6' duet for contrabassoon and
contrabass clarinet. (Score: NOK 30)

>rich.Hi Rich,
The composer himself is probably the best one to answer that: I'll
have to wait until the scores arrive. My impression is that they'll
be fairly contemporary....Grant

Subject: [CB] Eb contra reedsI have a supply of Selmer Omega Eb contrabass clarinet reeds for sale. The
reeds are #2 1/2 (about equivalent to a Vandoren #3). The reeds are in
sealed boxes of 12 each. These reeds are about 20 years old. I'm asking
$40 dollars U.S. for each box - that's about $3/reed, plus $4 to pack and
ship them from Canada. If interested, please e-mail me. I have 5 boxes available, and I may be
able to get more.Visit Merlin's Mouthpiece
